FiberFest, a one-day event celebrating fiber arts, will be held at NHIA’s Sharon Arts Center store on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Weaving felting, spinning and knitting will be featured in this event that is free and open to the public.
Activities include art displays, and demonstrations of crochet, wet, needle and nuno felting, knitting, quilting, rug making, drop spindle and wheel spinning, weaving on frame, floor, table and rigid-heddle looms.
A special weaving demonstration will be given by Farmsteads of New England of Hillsborough from 10 a.m. to noon.
There will be door prizes from Harrisville Designs, Joseph’s Coat, The Fiber Studio, and the Knitty Gritty Yarn Store.
