A workforce housing project in Jaffrey will receive $540,000 through the state’s InvestNH 2.0 program, part of $5.1 million in housing awards recently approved by the New Hampshire Executive Council.
The funding will support the construction of 30 permanently affordable rental units near downtown Jaffrey. State officials said the development is intended to help meet local employer demand and address regional workforce housing needs.
The award was announced by the New Hampshire Department of Business and Economic Affairs as part of a statewide effort to expand affordable housing options and strengthen workforce recruitment and retention.
InvestNH 2.0 provides zero-percent forgivable loans to developers building affordable workforce housing and is funded through the State InvestNH Fund.
