HancockChurch plansyard and pie sale

First Congregational Church of Hancock will hold its fall yard and pie sale on Oct. 1, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Vestry on Main Street. Homemade pies are $14. Prices are negotiable on yard sale items, with a $5 bag sale from 11:30 a.m. to noon. Everything left over is free during cleanup.

Donation drop-off times are on Sept. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. and Sept. 30 from 2 to 7 p.m.ย Please call first before donating furniture: Sue Shute at 924-7898.

The church will also be accepting donated goods for refugees arriving this year in New Hampshireโ€™s larger cities: clean, gently used items like bedding, towels, cookware, mops, brooms, alarm clocks, silverware and dishes, pack โ€˜n plays for babies. It also needs new items like dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, soap, toothbrushes, diapers, pens and papers. Donation drop-off times are the same as above.
