The Franklin Pierce University women’s tennis team was defeated, 9-0, on Sunday morning at home by Adelphi, in Northeast-10 Conference play.
With the loss, Franklin Pierce falls to 2-6 (2-5 Northeast-10).
Adelphi was dominant throughout the day’s nine matches, dropping just three games across three doubles matches and only four games across six singles matches.The Ravens return to the court on Thursday, Sept. 22, when they travel to Stonehill for a Northeast-10 match at 3 p.m. in Easton, Mass.
