Each year on Sept. 21, Christians observe the International Day of Prayer for Peace in conjunction with the United Nations-sponsored International Day of Peace.
Everyone is invited to the Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center in Greenfield at 11 a.m. Wednesday to offer prayers for peace. Observances of the โInternational Day of Prayer for Peaceโ began in 2004. The theme of the week is: โGod has broken down the dividing walls.โ
Visitors will gather in the Mellons Day Program Room located in the Main Center of the Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center, 1 Verney Drive, Greenfield.
