Freshman forward Sophie Cousineau (Milton, Mass.) has been named Northeast-10 Conference Co-Rookie of the Week, for the week ending on Sept. 11, as announced on Monday afternoon by the Conference office. Cousineau shares the award with Southern New Hampshire freshman midfielder Devyn Jacobs.
Franklin Pierce played just once last week, with Cousineau accounting for the entirety of the team’s scoring. On Saturday afternoon, she struck in the 32nd minute and again in the 40th minute, as the Ravens picked up a 2-1 win at home against Pace.
On the season, through three games, Cousineau has scored three goals, including two game-winning goals, to total six points. She has attempted eight shots, including five shots on goal.
