Conant girls’ soccer coach Carlos Fuertes told his team not to underestimate Hinsdale, and the result was a 9-0 victory.

“The team took that to heart and right away took control and attacked quickly,” Fuertes said.

Jordan Banish scored a hat-trick in the game, as did Monique Hill, curved one ball into the corner, sent another over the goalie and then made an easy shot to the inside of the post where the goalie could not reach it.

Kristyn Simoneau scored two goals of her own and Jillian Patria made the final tally.

“I am pleased to see that the team is using the things we learned at practice on the games we have played,” Fuertes said.  “The accuracy of our shot on net has increased dramatically in the past 2 games. I hope it continuous as we have some tough games ahead.”

Conant (5-1) has won five straight; they take on WLC (1-3) Saturday at 10 a.m.
