The Keene Unitarian Universalist Church will participate in the national “Concert Across America to End Gun Violence,” scheduled from 2-4:30pm on Sunday, September 25, 2016. The event will occur in the church sanctuary, located at 69 Washington Street in Keene, NH and be connected via social media and online to other events occurring simultaneously across the country.
The September 25th event will begin at 10am with a worship service conducted by Sommers and Hall. Following the service, the public is invited to bring blankets and chairs to picnic on the lawn prior to the concert. (In the case of inclement weather, the picnic is canceled.) At 2:00pm City of Keene Mayor, Kendall Lane, will present a proclamation supporting Keene’s participation in the national event. Although there is no cost to attend, a sliding scale fee ($5-$25) is suggested.
