The Cougars of Conval traveled to John Stark last week and lost a very close match, 3 sets to 1 set. The Cougars lost both the first two sets 20-25 before capturing the victory in set 3, also 20-25. The Cougars fought the entire 4th set and came up just short of the Generals with a set score of 23-25.
The Cougars offense was lead by middle hitter Riley Codman with 7 kills and 5 blocks, and the defense was lead by captain Aidan Dissinger with 12 digs and 8 serve receives.
