After a closely fought match Friday night with Hollis-Brookline, the Cavaliers walked away with the win, 2-1. ConVal came out hard and fast with the first goal, a shot by sophomore Dee Kashulines (her first of the season) with the assist from senior KJ Ammon.
Goalie Hannah Reinfrank had 9 saves on the night, with the ConVal defense holding H-B to just 4 corners and 13 shots on goal.
The Cougars (1-3) traveled to Souhegan (3-1), taking on the Sabers on their new turf Monday night. ConVal travels to Conant (0-3) next Monday.
