To the editor:
As I write this, tomorrow evening will be a sad day for dining in downtown Peterborough – Marzano’s will serve its last meal.
I’ve long thought this the best place within the Monadnock region for a great meal.
During August I’ve dined there four times knowing that its closure was approaching.
It’s not been good for my waistline.
I’ll miss Marzano’s and I know I’m not alone.
My thanks to all those at 6 School St. for the memories of those great meals.
PS: Marzano’s seafood chowder was to die for. I hope it might live on in some form, somewhere, somehow.
