ConVal volleyball lost their home opener Friday night, 3 sets to 1 set. The Cougars came out on fire and were able to snatch the first game 25-21 from the Bulldogs. They then lost the 2nd 16 – 25, lost the 3rd 23 – 25, and lost the 4th set 16 – 25.
“The Cougars never gave up and fought until the end,” said head coach Amanda Hinton. Leading the Cougars offensively were Abby Cail and Riley Codman each with 5 kills and defensively Mary Grossi with 10 digs and Aidan Dissinger with 12 digs. The ladies will travel to meet the Generals of John Start Tuesday at 5:45 p.m.
