The Peterborough Town Library is happy to announce library privileges will be extended to all Conval High School students with a current Conval ID Card. Just in time for Library Card month, the Library Staff is excited to sign new students up to begin using library services. In addition to accessing the Young Adult collection, students are encouraged to use Learning Express, an online database with SAT practice tests, math skills improvement, college preparation, and more! The Peterborough Town Library also provides a foreign language learning App, streaming films, and online magazines.
Students may stop by the library with their ID card and sign up beginning September 1st. In addition to signing students up for a card, library staff will highlight the events and services available to students at all public libraries in the district.
The Library Board of Trustees voted to extend privileges at their August meeting. โOur goal is to provide open and convenient access for high school students โand to promote usage at all public librariesโas well as support the school,โ said Library Director Corinne Chronopoulos.
Library staff will work with Rachael Bowman, the Conval High School Librarian, to be sure students are aware of the resources available to them.
