Sylvie Holding scored for ConVal, but the Cougars’ girls’ soccer team lost at John Stark Wednesday, 2-1.
“We missed a penalty kick early in the game that would of given us the lead 1-0,” said head coach Dave Springfield, “but we still played well against a very strong Stark team on the road and gave ourselves many opportunities to tie the game.”
Sarah Dauphinais played great in goal, Springfield added.
ConVal (0-1) is back in action today at home against Milford at 4 p.m.
