To the editor:
The Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all of those who made the the Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce town wide yard sale a smashing success again this year. This was our second year organizing this event, and we are so incredibly pleased with the turnout and community spirit.
We had 49 addresses on the map and hundreds of people came to town. A big thank you goes out to the committee members, Kari Lindstrom, Becky Newton, Jim VanCampen and Dale and Tracy Walter; our map table volunteers, Jack Byrne, Cindy Foley and Suzanne Mieso; the Jaffrey Police Department for their support of this event; Rite Aid for the free water and items they provided at the map booth; all of the business sponsors and WMUR TV for sharing our event during their morning TV broadcast.
We look forward to continuing to improve this event each year and helping it grow; it’s a win/win for families, businesses and the community!
