The New Hampshire Farm Bureau is celebrating its 100th anniversary, and to commemorate this achievement the Cheshire County Farm Bureau has put together a fun-filled gathering at The Inn at East Hill Farm in Troy.
The free event will take place on Sept. 5 from 2 to 6 p.m. Families and future farmers will enjoy activities such as goat milking, pony rides, arts and crafts, a hay bale making demonstration and an interactive butter making experience. There will also be a chance for guests to visit with the sheep and goats.
Snacks and beverages will be available throughout the day. A cookout with hamburgers, potato salad, macaroni and cheese, corn on the cob, pudding and ice cream will be served from 5 to 6 p.m.
