The Nashua Silver Knights, featuring Peterborough native Taylor Doyle, won the Futures Collegiate League baseball championship on Friday with an 8-5 victory over the Worcester Bravehearts.
Doyle, a ConVal graduate, plays his college baseball at Plymouth State. He went 3-3 with 27 strikeouts for the Silver Knights this summer season.
