A benefit for the Mariposa Museum at beautiful Lakefalls Lodge in Stoddard has been rescheduled from Aug. 11 to Sept. 23. The event will feature the most recent work of acclaimed photographer George Steinmetz, who will also present at the event. Guests will have the first glimpse anywhere into Steinmetzโ€™s latest project, Feed the Planet, for which his famous lens and eye have focused on the global food industry and large-scale agriculture.

The event has been rescheduled so Steinmetz can photograph the wheat harvest in Washington and Idaho in late August, which is happening ahead of schedule.

The event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will also feature cocktails, wine and beer, plus raffle items and a silent auction. Bowing to Mother Nature, this yearโ€™s event is planned for inside Lakefallsโ€™ Adirondack style lodge, though visitors are welcome to enjoy the venueโ€™s lakeside lawns and paths. โ€œThe foliage will be even more beautiful in September,โ€ Healy noted.
