This Saturday, the Monadnock Rod and Gun Club will hold the 5th annual Dave Hanan Memorial 3D Archery shoot. This event is open to both club members and the general public. There will be competitions on the 3D target course as well as running deer and long-shot competitions.
There is a $7 entry fee for the 3D targed course. A long-distance 50/50 novelty ball shoot runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at $2 per shot. The 3D running deer target repeating 50/50 starts at 3 p.m. at $2 per shot.
You do not have to participate in the official 3D course in order to compete for the running deer or long-shot competitions.
Registration for the event runs from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The course closes at 3 p.m.
The kitchen grill opens at 8 a.m. with coffee, donuts, egg-bacon-cheese muffins and at 10 a.m. for bugers, hot dogs, onion rings and fries.
