Trade the magic wand for a microphone and Adeem is basically Harry Potter. After all, they both exhibit tongue-twisting wizardry on a regular basis, spitting out phrases that could make a Muggle into a Metamorphmagu.
“There’s definitely magic in freestyling,” Adeem said. You’re pulling words out of your subconscious and sometimes you’re saying things and you don’t even know where its coming from.”
On Saturday night, both those worlds collide at the midnight release of the new Harry Potter book, “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.” The Toadstool Bookshop in Peterborough is hosting a release event, and while the throngs of bescarved bookworks wait for the latest installment, Adeem will entertain the crowd with a Harry Potter-themed rap. He expects to take the stage around 11:30.
