Thursday night’s run was another hot one for the sixth installment of the Thursday Night Jack Murphy runs and for the first time on the year, there was a repeat winner. Jake Movsessian, a senior on the Mascenic cross-country team this fall, not only won for the second time but for the second week in a row. Finishing in 18 minutes and 4 seconds he was more than a minute up on second place finisher, Ian Ramey, a Conant cross country runner alumni. Nels and Avery Traffie finished together on this night, with James Mormando, father of Conant cross country’s stand out sophomore Isabella Mormando, rounding out the top five.
Kristen Ramey, the second half of the Ramey dynamic duo, bested her hustand in the women’s category, finishing first for the ladies and 7th overall. Naomi Traffie, Heidi Somero, Wendy Price and Gretchen Smith rounded out the top five for women.
