Several locals were in action during New Hampshire American Legion Baseball Senior Tournament last weekend.
Milford Post 23, which features Craig Bilodeau, James Record and Dan Allen, beat Merrimack 8-1 and then Rochester 6-2 before Exeter handed them their first loss in a wild 5-2 game Sunday afternoon.
Milford was expected to take on the winner of Rochester/Merrimack Monday night at Nashua’s Holman Stadium, after press time. A win would put them in a possible doubleheader for the title tonight at 4 and 7 p.m.
In other action, Bedford Post 54 head coach Tim Conway of Lyndeborough announced he is stepping down from his position following Sunday’s 8-5 loss to Merrimack.
