A special summer contra dance will be held at the Fitzwilliam Town Hall on Saturday, July 30, at 8 p.m.
The dance will feature music by Denis Liddy and Elvie Miller with Tod Whittemore calling.
Liddy is a fiddler from Crusheen, Clare, Ireland. His wife, Elvie Miller, plays accordion and learned traditional music from her father, Rodney Miller of Antrim.
Whittemore began dancing and calling 40 years ago in the Fitzwilliam Town Hall.
