The Park Theatre has begun its 10th season of presenting free movies.

The summer films will be screened on Thursdays at 7 p.m., except as noted. These films will be shown at the Jaffrey Woman’s Club. On July 14, “Silverado,” 1983, rated PG-13, Western starring Kevin Costner and Danny Glover; on July 21, “Ratatouille,” 2007, rated G, animated children’s film; on Aug. 4, “The Manchurian Candidate,” 1962, drama starring Frank Sinatra and Angela Lansbury; on Aug. 11, “State of the Union,” 1948, drama starring Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn; on Aug. 18, “A Face in the Crowd,” 1957, drama starring Andy Griffith and Patricia Neal; Friday, Aug. 19, “Jaws,” 1975, rated PG, thriller starring Roy Scheider and Richard Dreyfuss; and on Aug. 25, “Wag the Dog,” 1997, rated R, drama starring Dustin Hoffman and Robert DeNiro.

“Jaws,” being screened to celebrate the return of the Jaffrey Festival of Fireworks, has a suggested donation of $3 but is also free.

The fall films will be shown on Saturdays at 7 p.m. These films are “The Mask of Zorro,” 1998, rated PG-13, action comedy starring Antonio Banderas and Anthony Hopkins; and on Nov. 12 “The Great Escape,” 1963, adventure drama starring Steve McQueen and James Garner for Veteran’s Day.

In addition to these films, two films will be shown at La Mia Casa with an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet for $5. On July 28, “Aliens,” 1986, rated R, action sci-fi starring Sigourney Weaver; and on Sept. 10, “Armageddon,” 1998, rated PG-13, action sci-fi starring Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck.
