Author Joseph Di Prisco will visit the Toadstool Bookshop today, July 14, at 4 p.m. to discuss his new book.
In conversation with David Robins, Di Prisco will talk about his latest novel “The Alzhammer.” He and Robins were college roommates, a distant time ago. Robins is the retired minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Peterborough.
The “alzhammer,” as he calls it, afflicts Mickey, a once-powerful mob boss. He is seriously slipping, losing control of his crew and of his mind. His business is sideways, his rivals are coming for him, he’s crazy forgetful, and it is a fact his parents suffered miserably with Alzheimer’s. He refuses to ride diapered and drooling into the sunset.
This event is free and all are welcome.
