The Jaffrey Fire Department’s 7th annual 5K fundraiser is set for Saturday, July 30. The race is a 5K run/walk over mixed cross-country terrain, including hard pack trails, wooded terrain, mild hills and possibly some mud – mostly wide trail. Timed event results to be posted after the race.

Race day registration runs from 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.; race starts at 9 a.m. Meet at Union Street across from Jaffrey-Rindge Middle School.
All proceeds from the 5K race benefit the Jaffrey Firefighters Company Inc., a fundraising and support organization for the Jaffrey Fire Department.
Following the race, the 5th annual chicken barbecue will take place on the town common. See any Jaffrey firefighter to buy a ticket in advance and reserve a plate.
