Folksinger and songwriter Edward Thomas will be the featured performer at the Living Room Coffee House on Saturday, June 18.
Thomas grew up on a small farm in Lunenburg, Massachusetts and started playing guitar at 10 years old. He played in bands through college, then biker bars into the ’90s. Though he always was writing original material, he didn’t record his first CD until the mid-2000s.
The coffee house sets a relaxing atmosphere for people to gather, listen and perform music, poetry and the spoken word.
A $5 donation is suggested. Students may bring two cans of food as their donation, to help support the local St. Vincent de Paul pantry.
Refreshments will be available including drinks, popcorn, and baked goods.
