Carmela Azzaro of Keene will be the featured artist for the month of June at the Dublin Community Center.
Azzaro who works in acrylics, draws her inspiration from nature.
A long-time art teacher in the Keene schools, she has devoted her retirement to painting and figure drawing. Her work has been shown locally, including in the 2015 Jurors’ Choice Competition at the Thorne-Sagendorph Art Gallery at Keene State College. She is one of eight artists chosen to exhibit a body of work at the Selections 2017 show next February at the Library Arts Center in Newport.
