Franklin Pierce University has finished eighth in the 2015-16 Northeast-10 Conference Presidents’ Cup, as announced Monday night by the Conference office at the league’s year-end banquet. The Ravens are down three spots from last year’s best-ever fifth-place finish, but also finished just 7.5 points behind sixth-place Assumption.

The Presidents’ Cup is presented annually to signify overall athletic excellence in the Northeast-10. The honor is awarded to the institution which compiles the most cumulative points, based on finishes in the regular-season standings, from all of its programs.

Franklin Pierce compiled 140 points in this year’s edition of the Presidents’ Cup, which was just four fewer points than a year ago, even though the crimson and grey would finish three spots lower than 2014-15. The Ravens were 54 points behind Adelphi, which claimed its third title in the last four years, as well as its third overall.
