To the editor:
The Ledger-Transcript damages Mascenic student learning when facts regarding district business get misrepresented, sensationalized or worse, just plain made up!
In my opinion the “news” in the Ledger-Transcript regarding the Mascenic School District has been consistently embellished with a negative editorial spin.
Misrepresentations in the “news” about our district’s superintendent and school board artificially undermines taxpayer support for the important work of student learning in our school district and only hurts our students. For the sake of an informed citizenry and student learning I encourage the Ledger-Transcript to report our district’s business and events in a fair and balanced manner.
