The Peterborough Chamber Choir will present a concert titled “Alleluia” at All Saints’ Church on Sunday, June 5, at 4 p.m. The performance will celebrate American sacred music, focusing on a cappella arrangements of Shaker songs and African American spirituals.
Two works by Stephen Paulus, a new setting of the hymn “Amazing Grace” by choir director David Vernier, and a performance of the “Alleluia” by Randall Thompson are also on the program. Admission is by donation and the program is suggested for older children and adults. Donations for this performance will benefit the music program at All Saints’ Church.
