“Living with Vampires” is the third book in Linda Tiernan Kepner’s paranormal series; A Vampire of Manhattan Adventure. The Toadstool Bookshop in Peterborough will be hosting an author book talk this weekend on Saturday, May 28 at 2 p.m. This event is free and all are welcome. Linda will introduce readers to the vampire tales and talk about her latest vampire adventure.

The story is fiction with fantasy and romance. The title insinuates that a population of American vampires is living predominantly in major cities. In the first chapter the main character, a vampire named Aden Drinan says he works as a surgeon in a hospital.

Kepner writes dialogues between the characters where in the conversation the reader is gripped by the fascinating details of the lives of vampires. The book is under 200 pages and just 9 chapters. The story reveals itself in the fifth chapter when identifying with the traits of vampires. Kepner writes “getting blood from a live creature, particularly a terrified one with a pounding heart, is the Champagne of the vampire world. A unit bag of ABC hospital blood is like bargain bin wine…it takes some fine control, to be able to drink without hurting someone” Get your hands on her latest book. Linda has worked the past 32 years as a librarian in Peterborough and lives locally. She writes naturally with enthusiastic rhetoric. The characters in “Living with Vampires” are developed with genuine sentiment, meaning and wit.
