The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics recently announced Jocelyn Ojala of New Ipswich, a junior at Bethel College, as a 2016 Women’s Golf Scholar-Athlete. In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
The BC women’s golf team finished the season with three tournament victories and a sixth-place finish at the NCCAA National Championships.
