The Hot Glass Art Center located at 99 Main St. in Marlborough will celebrate its first year of operation with a community open house on June 3 from 5 to 8 p.m.
“It’s been an incredible first year,” said Jordana Korsen, owner, educator and glass blower at the center. Korsen resides in Harrisville.
“We took an old gas station, gutted it, and created a state-of-the-art glass blowing studio. I couldn’t be more pleased with the response and support from first time students, local artists, and the community.”
The studio offers classes, working with a range of beginner to advanced students through weekly classes, weekend workshops, and private lessons.
It is also open to the public for observation.
