Maxine Dunn of Peterborough, a junior field hockey player at Hartwick College, received two honors from her school at its annual sports awards ceremony. Dunn was chosen as the  winner of the M. Beal Banks Award, which is presented to individuals who have best pursued excellence in their sport to the best of their ability and have enthused others with their dedication and commitment, and the Carrie Fridmann Memorial Award, which is presented to field hockey and/or women’s lacrosse players who live life with passion, strength and spirit.
