The Monadnock Drum Caravan will offer a free performance of African drumming in the Depot Park amphitheater on Sunday, May 22, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Abou Sylla and several adult drumming students will drum for the public before Sylla goes back to Africa for a visit. He has been teaching for the past year at the Peterborough Recreation Department. His CDs will be for sale to benefit his mother’s school in Africa.
In case of rain, the performance will be held at the Peterborough Town House.
