The second annual Swing Into Spring softball fundraiser tournament was held Saturday at Peterborough’s Picard and Ecco Fields. The event raises money for the Hope For Gus Foundation. This year, mor than $3,000 was raised. This money will be donated directly to help fund medical research and awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Eleven teams, comprised of local adult rec softball players, high school athletes, and community members out to help, competed in the tournament. Ultimately, the Cleats and Cleavage team came out victorious.
