The Franklin Pierce University’s Choral Union will present a program titled “Be Like the Bird: Songs of Strength and Light” tonight, May 5, at All Saints’ Church.

This university-wide college choir sings an eclectic mix of genres, including accompanied and a cappella pieces from Estonian folk music, American shape note, Mozart, Carissimi, the poetry of Robert Burns, contemporary composers and artists.

Admission to this 7:30 p.m. performance is free. Donations will support the church’s Tuesday community supper.

The choir is directed by Marybeth Hallinan.
