Boynton started out struggling against WLC Tuesday.
“All of our hits seemed to be laser guided, right into The Warriors’ gloves,” said Boynton coach Mike Martel, “while our gloves seemed to have holes in them.”
Nathan Wilkins pitched five innings for Boynton. The Bulldogs scored two in the seventh to tie it at 5 – 5 before Trey Shaw hit a sacrifice fly to left field, scoring Chris Wilkins from third with the go-ahead run. Relief pitching by Shaw closed out the game with three strikeouts.
