Ted Ernst, Alex Chambers and Barrett Norton won their singles matches on Wednesday but ConVal couldn’t win any of the doubles matches and lost to Windham 6-3.

The Cougars then had to face Souhegan on Friday. The Sabers boast two of the best players in the state in Matt Lapsley and Nathaniel Kershlis, and those two dispatched Oliver Ellerkamp and Ernst in straight sets.

Chambers played well in his single match. In doubles, Griffin Werth and Norton posted their first doubles win of the season, winning the last four games for ConVal’s only victory of the day. Souhegan won the contest 8-1.

ConVal (1-2) was scheduled to play Trinity (0-3) on Monday; the Cougars travel to Manchester West (1-4) on Friday at 4 p.m.
