Local Democrats will hold a meeting April 21, at 7 p.m., at the Town Library. This will be an opportunity to get re-acquainted, welcome any newly interested Democrats, discuss upcoming state and local elections, and set agendas for future meetings.
State representatives Peter Leishman and Ivy Vann will be on hand to report on how things have been going in the Legislature in Concord.
State senatorial candidate Lee Nyquist will speak about his campaign.
The group plans to have meetings on a regular basis and will be inviting the several gubernatorial, state senate, and Executive Council candidates to present.
