Theresa Edick of Dublin was named a 2016 Newman Civic Fellow by Campus Compact, a Boston-based not-for-profit focused on public service and higher education.

Edick, a member of the class of 2018 at Colby-Sawyer College will receive a certificate of accomplishment and gain access to the Newman Civic Fellows online network.

Edick is majoring in environmental studies with a focus on sustainability. She has been active on Colby-Sawyer’s campus serving as president of the Community Service Club and Alternative Spring Break Club. An orientation leader last year, she hopes to be selected once again this summer. Edick is also a Colby-Sawyer student ambassador, giving tours of the campus to prospective students and speaking with them and their families over lunch.
