As part of its commitment to supporting veterans and responsible environmental stewardship, Eversourceโ€™s vegetation management team volunteered at the Saluting Branches of Service Day in New Hampshire on Wednesday.

Dozens of volunteers from the energy company, including Eversource arborists and tree trimming contractors, helped to take care of trees and provide landscaping services at the Cathedral of the Pines in Rindge.

โ€œPromoting environmental responsibility, sustainability and giving back to our communities are part of our everyday mission at Eversource, and weโ€™re proud to show how we put those core values into action through our volunteer efforts with Saluting Branches,โ€ said Eversource Manager of Vegetation Management Ian Farley. โ€œParticipating in this day of service is a wonderful opportunity for us to honor our veterans by making their final resting places safe and beautiful for their families and all those who visit.โ€

In its 11th year, Saluting Branches is an annual volunteer event organized by arborists across the country to honor and assist veterans by providing tree care services at national cemeteries and other properties dedicated to veterans.
