The Hancock Womanโ€™s Club will host the โ€œTwo Centuries of Pine Ridge Cemetery Spirit Tourโ€ on Saturday, Sept. 20. Costumed guides portraying 18th- and early 19th-century residents will share stories about the early days of Hancock.

The tour begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Hancock Vestry, Main Street, next to the Hancock Meeting House, with short presentations before and after. Participants will walk through Pine Ridge Cemetery to meet the โ€œspiritsโ€ and return to the vestry for closing remarks from one of Hancockโ€™s founding mothers.

Tickets are $25 and must be reserved in advance. Attendance is limited to 40, and participants must be 12 or older. The cemetery cannot accommodate wheelchairs, strollers or walkers. Families are welcome.

Proceeds benefit local charities and the Hancock Womanโ€™s Scholarship Fund.
