The ConVal High School boys and girls cross country teams opened their 2026 season on Sept. 2 at the Jamie Martin Invitational, with both squads finishing 11th overall in the team standings.
Senior captain Callie Post led the girls’ team, taking the top spot for ConVal with a time of 25:20, closely followed by sophomore Josie Laber at 25:28. Berkley Bates, Norah McNamara, Kate Fraley, and Penny Murphy completed the varsity lineup for the girls.
On the boys’ side, junior Van Stahlin delivered the team’s top performance, placing 30th overall with a time of 18:36. Freshman Ari Pape finished 33rd in 19:05 during his high school debut. Josiah Post, Marcus Jordan, Will Ricaurte, Vinny Hollenbeck, and Ronan Fortin rounded out the boys varsity finishers.
