New Hampshire Theatre Awards will present the Francis Grover Cleveland Award for Lifetime Achievement to Rob Koch of Actors’ Circle Theatre in Peterborough.
The New Hampshire Theatre Awards ceremony will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord.
Koch has been an actor, director, and provided technical support in both professional and community theaters for more than 50 years. He is a founding member of Actors’ Circle Theatre of Peterborough, and serves as the company’s managing director. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of The Peterborough Players.
Koch has provided to people of all ages a host of theatrical experiences, and has fostered educational initiatives by partnering with other Monadnock region troupes, such as the youth organization, Project Shakespeare.
His acting resume includes appearances in productions with ACT and in “Inherit the Wind” and “Our Town” at The Peterborough Players. He has also performed with The Antrim Players, Raylynmor Opera, Granite State Opera, Milford Area Players, and Branch River Theatre.
His directing credits include “The Wizard of Oz,” “Guys & Dolls,” “Once Upon A Mattress,” “The Importance Of Being Earnest” and “Our Town” (the opera, by Ned Rorem). Technical credits include “Picasso At The Lapin Agile,” “Fully Committed,” “Mr. Pim Passes By,” and “As You Like It.”
