This weekend, as part of its 150th anniversary celebrations, the Greenville Spring Fling will include a chicken barbeque and events for both adults and children.

The event is Saturday, May 28, from 1 to 9 p.m. at the American Legion Pavilion on Route 31. The chicken barbeque is available from 1 to 3 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance. Throughout the day, there will be hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks available.

From 1 4 p.m., there will be a touch-a-truck event and ice cream available for children. A bartender will be serving drinks, and live music will be played from 4 to 9 p.m.

Games, including cornhole and horseshoe tournaments, will be available throughout the day.

This event is sponsored by the Greenville 150th Year Celebration Committee.
