The Peterborough Concert Series will present folk rock from The Ghost of Paul Revere and The Ballroom Thieves Saturday, Feb. 19, at 8 p.m. at the Peterborough Town House, 1 Grove St..

The Ghost of Paul Revere has been described as not quite bluegrass, not quite country, not quite rock โ€˜nโ€™ roll, but all three combined. Since forming in 2011, they have released three full-length albums and three EPs and have performed alongside The Avett Brothers, Jason Isbell, The Revivalists, Bela Fleck and The Infamous Stringdustersย and appeared at major festivals nationwide. They took home โ€œBest in Maineโ€ at the New England Music Awards twice.

In 2019, their song โ€œBallad of the 20th Maineโ€ became the official state ballad of Maine after being passed unanimously by the Senate and House of Representatives and signed into law by Maine Gov. Janet Mills.

The Ballroom Thieves have consistently bridged the gap between folk, rock and soul. With their third album, โ€œUnlovely,โ€ they have incorporated musical styles that range from Motown to classic rock and metal. Their catalog has amassed over 85 million streams and they have earnedย festival spots nationwide.

Tickets are $29 and are available at the Toadstool Bookshop in Peterborough or online at peterboroughconcertseries.com. The Peterborough Concert Series is a recurring concert series bringing national and regional bands to Peterborough Town House.
