The town of Peterborough announced Thursday the promotion of long-time Recreation Program Coordinator Lisa Koziell-Betz to the position of Recreation Director.
Koziell-Betz has been with the Peterborough Recreation Department since 2003, and previous to that time she was the Parks and Recreation Director for the Town of Greenfield. Koziell-Betz has over 23 years of experience in recreation-related roles, and has spent more than ten years as the Recreation Program Coordinator for Peterborough, where she has excelled at strategic planning, budget management, development and implementation of a wide variety of recreation programs, hiring and training of staff, customer service, and a host of administrative duties. Koziell-Betzโs well-developed skill set and decades of experience will undoubtedly prove valuable in her new role as Director.
Koziell-Betz is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional through the National Recreation and Parks Association, and she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education/Outdoor Education with a minor in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. She is a resident and active member of the Peterborough community.
