The Keene State holiday basketball tournament concluded Wednesday. Wells, Maine beat Fall Mountain 68-25 to win the White Division, while Keene beat Smithfield, Rhode Island 60-42 to take Red Division honors.

Wilton-Lyndeborough and Conant also played consolation games Wednesday.

WLC played Newport and came away with a 62-53 win, cementing third place. Senior captains Sean McClure and Trey Carrier continued to impress; McClure scored 20 points and grabbed 21 rebounds, while Carrier finished with 27 points and 14 rebounds. Both were named to the All-Tournament team.

Conant took on Division II’s Coe-Brown, but couldn’t eke out a win, as the Bears took it 56-46. Freshman Peyton Springfield had another big day, putting in 18 points.

The Stephen Record Memorial Sportsmanship Award went to Dylan Grover of Keene High.
